Llipri is an attempt to capture the colors, ambiance and emotions that arise as an experience from gateways, and create that experience as an audible form as if it was present at the gateways them self. Gateways from streets to backyards, from doors to hallways, from emotions to ideas and from ambiance to experience and back. All the while observing the possibilities and restrictions a gateway has to offer when leading you from a place to another transforming life itself.

While playing and recording the tracks there has been an effort to make the emotions and feelings become alive in the music and to capture them on tracks. The organic recording process has in its way had an effect in the composition as well. The track previously recorded has carried an influence to tracks following it and thus the album is formed in to a whole body of music with a narrative that carries through out creating in its wake a gateway of its own.

Transparence is a vital part of the recording process as well. Trying to achieve the sketch-like essence of the work, there has been a need to preserve the sound-scape of recording situation as it was at the time of the recording, capturing the "attempt to capture" the transformation from mere ideas and experiences into musical form. In a way this contributes to the pureness and rawness of the experiences we have in life. There are no filters or compressors when it comes to human experiences.
